Who we are
Love & Happiness Project is a dance company who have been together since 2012. What began as a simple 6 week pilot program has turned into over a decade of classes and performances.
We provide individuals with Down syndrome not only the opportunity to learn dance, but also the skills of balance, posture and public presentation. They take pride in performing.
Performances have ranged from civic events to Middle Tennessee State University football & basketball games, to the Frist Art Museum to an international forum in Cairo, Egypt.
Love & Happiness Project's mission is to empower and inspire individuals with Down syndrome through the art of dance.
We are dedicated to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where our dancers can express their creativity, develop their talents, and gain confidence. Through our dance programs and performances, we aim to celebrate the unique abilities of our dancers, promote acceptance, and challenge societal perceptions. Our goal is to provide opportunities for personal growth, artistic expression, and community engagement, fostering a world where every dancer's light can shine brightly.
